二零一五年八月一日，孫穗芳博 士贈與美國加州士德頓孔教堂的中 華會館半身金像正式揭幕。孫穗芳博 士與該會館主席呂美珍共同為銅像 揭幕。士德頓中華會館舉辦了盛大的 揭幕儀式和招待宴會。眾議員 Jerry McNerney 派代表頒發褒獎。孫中山 先生當年在美國籌劃民主革命期間， 曾經藏身於士德頓的一家華人商店內 (衛凱茜/大紀元)。

More than 100 people watched as Lily Sui Fong Sun traveled to Stockton to dedicate a statue of him in an unveiling ceremony at the Confucius Church of Stockton. In 1986, Dr. Lily Sun took an oath to donate 100 statues of Dr. Sun Yat sen to places around the world. Her goal was to honor her grandfather's legacy and to spread his political philosophy, known as Three Principles of the People: Nationalism, People's Rightsand the People's Livelihood. Dr. Lily exceeded her initial goal of 100 statues the one being dedicated in Stockton is her 150th. Dr. Sun Yats en, known as the Father of Modern China, was a Chinese revolutionist and a Western medical doctor. Beginning in 1895, he spent many years traveling in exile throughout the world to win support for his revolutionary ideas. He orchestrated uprisings throughout China that ultimately led to the overthrow of China's Manchu Qing Dynasty in 1911 and the end of imperial rule in China. The Republic of China was established, with Dr. Sun as its provisional president (CALIXTRO ROMIAS/THE RECORD).
