Lily Sui-fong Sun, granddaughter of the Founding Father of the Republic of China Sun Yat-sen, displays a jade piece from the collection of art, books and historical items she donated to the Kapi’olani Community College library. The library’s growing collection of Asian-language materials is named in honor of Sun Yat-sen, who studied in Hawai’i.
